1. Who We Are

BlockGuests is an independent European crypto intelligence platform covering Swiss FINMA regulation, EU MiCA policy, and Crypto Valley ecosystem developments. This privacy policy explains how we handle information when you visit www.blockguests.com.

2. Information We Collect

BlockGuests does not require registration, account creation, or login. We do not actively collect personal information from visitors.

When you visit our site, our hosting infrastructure may automatically log standard technical data, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, the pages you visit, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected for security and performance purposes and is not used to identify individual users.

We do not use tracking pixels, cross-site tracking cookies, or behavioural advertising technologies.

3. Cookies

BlockGuests uses only essential technical cookies necessary for the site to function correctly. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party tracking cookies.

You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies. Doing so will not materially affect your ability to read content on this site.

4. Third-Party Services

Our site loads resources from the following third-party providers, which may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies:

  • Google Fonts — used to serve web fonts. Google may log the request. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Cloudflare CDN — used for content delivery and DDoS protection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
  • Font Awesome — used to serve icon fonts via CDN.

We have no control over the data practices of these third-party services.

5. Market Data

Price and market data displayed on BlockGuests is retrieved from public cryptocurrency data APIs. No personal data is transmitted in these requests. Market data is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial advice.

6. Data Retention

Server access logs containing IP addresses and technical metadata are retained for a maximum of 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes, after which they are deleted. We do not sell, share, or transfer any server log data to third parties except as required by law.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP), including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal data we hold about you.

Because BlockGuests does not collect personal data beyond standard server logs, there is typically no personal data held beyond automated log retention. If you have a specific request regarding data held about you, please contact us via the information on our About page.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

This privacy policy applies to www.blockguests.com only. BlockGuests is an independent editorial publication and is not affiliated with any cryptocurrency exchange, financial institution, or regulatory authority.
